On this card each layer has a different layer has a different letter cut out .
Its easy to make and can be for any occasion!
This wedding card was made by me. It has two different parts that stand up
the big part is held up by the little love heart and then the small part it held
up by the big part (this was inspired by Yvonne Tune).
This wedding card was made by myself the bottom part

stamp of the bride and groom on it,and then heat embossed and then finally the last fold has some pretty purple flowers on it.
This card is the reverse side of the card above it has

nephew piece at the bottom holds it in place.

This card was made by Janice who is in my adults card class. its a 87th birthday card. it has a picture of a cobbler because it was for her grandfather who was a cobbler.

Hello everyone, we had a lovely craft club  tonight, all the crafting world is put to rights now, lots of tea drunk and lots of buns eaten. Next month we have Stradbally Jewellers giving a demonstration in which Claire will show us how to make silver jewellery. Let me know if you intend to come along so I have enough tables and chairs put out. 085.2801937.
Thanks, Midi.

Hello, it's been a busy few months since Christmas, I really can't believe it's nearly St. Patrick's day. We had great fun at the children's craft class making green white and gold rosettes which turned into making green white and gold bracelets, headbands and flags. The adult craft class is in full swing, with lots of cards being made and the world being put to rights. I've started a teenager craft class on Monday evening and it's proving very popular, this week we made a Mother's day card and last week it was the exploding box card. Next week I hope to make a Chinese dragon. Tomorrow night is sewing class so it's a change of pace with more long term projects like beautiful cushions and blankets, storage items and soft toys. Next week is craft club so I'm really looking forward to that, I'm amazed its that time of the month again, the time is just flying by. I'll be giving  out the craft club membership cards (I thought I'd have them posted out by now) so you'll all be able to avail of discounts in many shops to further your crafting passion. Claire of Stradbally Jewellers is going to be giving us a demonstration at next month's craft club. I'm really looking forward to it. It will be just a taste of the wonderful jewellery making class Claire will be running in the hall in Ballinameela school later on in the year maybe at the start of the summer. Full details of that will follow later on in the next few weeks.
Now I have a nappy cake to finish so I'll leave it for now and come back later with lots and lots of photographs.
Thank you for stopping by,
Midi.

Hello everyone,
Tuesday night we had our monthly meeting of the Craft club in Ballinameela National School. Every month the numbers are steadily going up so it makes it a better meeting every month. We had a go at some Mountmellick Embroidery, with varying results but lots of laughs. Lots of tea and lots of buns later I think we managed to put the crafting world to rights. For anyone who wants to join us, come along from 7.30 to 9.30 the third Tuesday of every month. Bring along whatever craft you happen to be working on.

Hello everyone, I hope you had a lovely Christmas and New Year. I suppose like most of you I got some crafting goodies for Christmas but I haven't had a proper play yet. I got a folder to hold all of my embossing folders and my dies for my die cutting machine.I was also given some 'coredinations' paper and the sanding block and spare sand paper, I've only had time to make one card with them but it turned out really nice. Coordination's paper if you haven't seen it is paper that has a co-ordinating colour through the middle fibres of it so if you emboss and then sand it you'll see the colour come through where it's been sanded. It's a really really effective technique and it doesn't take a lot of expertise to get it right.
On the other hand classes have begun to resume after the break. Cards and paper crafts on Monday night, Sewing will resume next week on Thursday nights and the Children's Craft Classes will start again on Saturday. This week the children will be making finger puppets which if made a little bit smaller will fit onto the top of pens and pencils. They're really colourful, and are ideal for children to show their imagination and crafting flair. Anyone wishing to take part in any of the classes please ring me beforehand to make sure I have a kit made up for you on 085.2801937.
